Colleen Eppig

VP, Head of Medical Affairs Strategy and Operations at Stemline Therapeutics

Colleen Eppig has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Colleen is currently working as the Chief Member at Chief, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Stemline Therapeutics as the VP, Head of Medical Affairs Strategy and Operations, starting in October 2022.

Before joining Stemline Therapeutics, Colleen held various roles at Novartis Oncology. From May 2019 to October 2022, they served as the Integrated Disease Medical Team Lead (IDMT Lead) for Breast Cancer and GYN Malignancies. In this role, they led a multidisciplinary team to develop and maintain a comprehensive disease medical strategy and ensure alignment with the US Oncology Medical vision.

From July 2018 to November 2019, Colleen was the Head of Medical Sciences and Strategic Operations for US Oncology Medical. Colleen led a team of associates and was responsible for delivering strategic communications and content to enhance scientific exchange and medical excellence externally.

From September 2012 to July 2018, Colleen held the position of Head, Oncology Field Medical Strategy and Operations at Novartis Oncology. In this role, they developed and led the strategic plan and priorities for the Oncology, Hematology, and Rare Disease MSLs. Colleen also oversaw training and development for the MSL and Medical Managed Markets teams.

Additionally, Colleen served as the Regional Director of MSLs for the Northeast Region on an interim basis from April 2014 to September 2014, and they started their career as a Medical Science Liaison at Novartis Oncology from September 2004 to September 2012.

Prior to working at Novartis Oncology, Colleen worked at Aventis as the Professional Oncology Education Manager from February 2003 to September 2004, and they were a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Oncology Drug Development at Johnson & Johnson from October 2001 to February 2003.

Colleen Eppig holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Case Western Reserve University.
