Alison Chambon

Associate Research Scientist at Stemson Therapeutics

Alison Chambon, MS, has a strong background in tissue engineering and in vitro pharmacology, involving primary cells and iPSCs. With experience in organoid culture and 3D bioprinting, her skill set is tailored for the development of advanced 3D tissue models to solve complex in vitro and clinical challenges. She has worked on tissue models and therapies for many complex tissue types, including for renal, hepatic, and cardiovascular applications. Prior to joining Stemson, Alison worked on the Therapeutics team at Organovo creating bioprinted therapeutic liver tissue to treat inborn errors of metabolism. In this position, she contributed to extensive product design, characterization, and preclinical testing to support pre-IND efforts. She earned her Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Regenerative Medicine from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2018 while matriculating through the CIRM program.
