Tobias Höglund has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Java/C Developer at Interia for three years. Tobias then joined TietoEnator Telecom & Media in 2005 as a Java Developer, focusing on web application development and using technologies such as Java, Spring, and Struts. In the same year, they also worked at AstraZeneca R&D as a Computational Chemist for a short period.

From 2005 to 2006, Tobias worked at Teleca as a Java Developer, and then moved to auSystems (later acquired by Cybercom) in 2006 for a year, where they served as a Java Developer for various clients, including Telecom operator TeliaSonera and Swedish postal service IT (Posten).

In 2008, they joined Visionael Corp. as a Sr. Software Engineer, working on developing OSS products for telecom operators and Cisco Unified CallManager automation. Tobias utilized a wide range of technologies, including Java SE, Java EE, JavaScript, Ajax/JQuery, Angular JS, REST/Web Services, Maven, and Git.

Tobias spent 2012 on parental leave in Shanghai. After that, they worked at CGI from 2013 to 2015 as a Senior Java Developer, contributing to Raindance ERP product and specializing in Eclipse Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) APIs, JVM GC tuning, and performance analysis of Java Web Applications.

Most recently, Tobias has been working at Stendahls since 2015 as a Sr. Software Developer/Scrum Master. In this role, they have focused on acting as a Scrum Master and improving architecture and coding in their Spring-Java-application. Tobias has also been involved in backend Java development with Spring Framework and some TypeScript/Node/JavaScript projects.

Tobias Höglund attended the University of Gothenburg from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in Physical Chemistry in 2006. Tobias also holds several additional certifications including being a Certified ScrumMaster® from the Scrum Alliance, Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI, and has certificates in Enriched Air Nitrox and Open Water Diver from Scuba Schools International. Additionally, they hold the SCJP 1.5 certification from Sun.
