Alexis Laroe

Alexis Laroe is an experienced professional in legislative affairs, currently serving as the Director of Legislative Affairs at Step Up For Students since June 2021, having previously held the roles of Legislative Affairs Assistant Director and Legislative Affairs Manager within the same organization. Alexis began a career in public policy as a Policy and Public Affairs Legislative Intern at Step Up For Students from September 2019 to August 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Summer Field Director for the Franklin County Republican Party, where responsibilities included conducting targeted door-to-door voter contact, recruiting volunteers for events, and performing voter ID phone calls. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Tampa, and a Master of Science in American Politics from Florida State University.
