Akiko Yamamoto

Akiko Yamamoto, MBA, PMP, PMI-ACP, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project and program management across multiple high-profile organizations. Currently serving as R&D and Quality Program Manager at Stepan Company since January 2016, Akiko has spearheaded significant initiatives, including the SAP QM roll-out for 19 manufacturing sites globally, managing a multimillion-dollar budget and leading a team of over 20 core members. Prior experience includes a role as IT Project Manager at Motorola Solutions, where Akiko was responsible for major project initiatives, and as Senior Project Manager at Koch Industries, successfully launching Shared Service Centers in Europe and Asia. Additionally, Akiko held a position at HP, managing a multi-million Euro bid for Volkswagen and leading a service desk transformation for Royal Dutch Shell. Akiko holds an MBA in Finance from SMU Cox School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of South Alabama.
