Alecia Nelson

Alecia Nelson is an accomplished engineering professional with a strong background in automation and controls. Currently serving as the Controls Group Leader at Stepan Company since May 2022, Alecia previously held the position of Engineering Team Lead at Rockwell Automation from September 2012 to May 2022, where responsibilities included managing and coordinating chemical projects. Prior experience includes roles at NovaTech Automation, focusing on application engineering for the brewing industry, and at The Dow Chemical Company as a Process Automation Engineer. Alecia began a career in process control at MeadWestvaco as a DCS co-op, after earning a B.S. in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
