Sarah Salmons

Sarah Salmons has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Sarah has worked as an Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management + Marketing at Stephens College since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked in Internal Communications at the University of Missouri-Columbia from February 2023 to June 2023. Sarah also served as the Director of Communications at Stephens College from January 2022 to February 2023, and at the Missouri Catholic Conference from December 2021 to January 2022. Sarah has also held the position of Senior Research Analyst at the State of Missouri, specifically in the Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development, from May 2019 to December 2021. Additionally, Sarah worked as a Communications Instructor at the State Technical College of Missouri from August 2010 to August 2019. Sarah began their career as a News Writer at Missouri Lawyers Media from June 2008 to February 2010, followed by a role as a General Assignment Reporter at The Washington Missourian from June 2004 to June 2008. Sarah's earliest work experience was as a Production Assistant/House Manager at Coterie Theatre from January 2002 to December 2003, where they gained experience in live performance and artistic sensibility.

Sarah Salmons received their Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing from Lindenwood University, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English and Theatre as a double major at Truman State University from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their degrees, Sarah has obtained various certifications in areas such as Green Belt, Conflict Resolution, Project Management, and Finance for Non-Financial Managers.
