Michael Rennie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and governance. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Sterling Black since April 2023, Rennie also holds a position on the Board of Directors at the NSW Environment Protection Authority from December 2018 to December 2023 and has been a board member at LiveHire (ASX:LVH) from August 2019 to November 2023. Notably, Rennie contributed to McKinsey & Company from January 1986 to August 2017, where roles included Global Shareholders Council member, Global Leader of People and Organisation Performance Practice, and Managing Partner for Australia & New Zealand. Academically, Rennie is a Rhodes Scholar, having earned a Master of Arts in politics, philosophy, and economics from the University of Oxford, along with a B. Juris (hons) and LLB (hons) in Law from The University of Western Australia, and a Matura in Languages and History from Kantonschule Zurcher Unterland in Switzerland.
