Chris Christian

Chris Christian has extensive experience in compliance management and operations. Chris started their career as a Special Projects & Compliance Manager at GIS in 2005 and later transitioned to become the Compliance and Operations Manager. In this role, they were responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures and managing a proprietary database repository. Chris also established strategic business partnerships and vendor relations for international background checks. In 2013, Chris joined ADP Screening and Selection Services as a Compliance Manager, where they managed the encompassing Compliance Program for the entire business. Chris conducted internal audits, identified and remediated compliance risks, and monitored operational compliance controls. Most recently, Chris worked as the Director of Compliance at Sterling, where they directed and managed legal compliance activities, collaborated with internal stakeholders on compliance remediation projects, and provided compliance guidance for operational processes and product development.

Chris Christian obtained a BA degree in History from The Citadel, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they pursued Non-Professional General Legal Studies (Undergraduate) at Anderson University (SC) from 1991 to 1993. In addition, in 2015, Chris obtained an Oregon Private Investigator License from the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST)- Private Security and Private Investigators Program. In 2014, they also obtained the PBSA Advanced FCRA Certification from the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA).
