Vishal Rane

Vishal Rane has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Vishal started their career at Image Online Pvt. Ltd. in 2005 as a Project Manager, where they were involved in gathering specifications and UI design. Vishal also coordinated with clients from the USA, UK, and Netherlands and was responsible for coding, maintenance, and management of a premium online dictionary.

In 2010, Vishal joined Trellian as a Team Leader. Vishal played a crucial role in setting up, coding, and maintaining a complete domain auction management website.

From 2014 to 2018, Vishal worked at Mauj Mobile as a Project Manager. Here, they delivered all projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies and successfully scaled up the tableau infrastructure from a single server to a multi-server cluster environment. Vishal also contributed to scaling up existing OLAP on AWS RedShift.

Currently, Vishal serves as an Associate Vice President of Engineering at Sterling, starting in July 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Manager of Engineering from January 2019 to June 2023. Vishal Rane completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in IT & Systems from ICFAI University from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai from 2002 to 2005. Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, they completed their H.S.C from Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala from 2000 to 2002 and their S.S.C from Madhyamic Vidyalaya from 1990 to 2000.
