Brett Caracciolo

Brett Caracciolo has extensive work experience in data management and governance roles. Brett started their career at Merrill Lynch as a Vice President and was responsible for application development, data warehousing, and business intelligence for the Private Wealth Management Division. During their time there, they successfully led the construction of a 40 Terabyte Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Brett then joined MUFG, formerly The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, UFJ, where they held various positions including Director of Data Governance & Warehousing, Head of Data Management Department, and Chief Data Officer. In these roles, they developed and implemented data governance programs, led data quality initiatives, and managed various banking systems and functions.

Caracciolo's most recent role was at Sterling National Bank, where they served as a Senior Managing Director in the Data Management & Governance department. Brett was accountable for implementing data management capabilities and establishing a sustainable Data Governance Program. Brett successfully built a high-performing data governance support team and implemented a cloud-based platform for data governance.

Overall, Caracciolo has a strong background in data management and governance, with experience in strategy development, policy implementation, data quality measurement, metadata management, and team leadership.

Brett Caracciolo obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science & Business Administration from Rowan University. Brett attended Rowan University from 1981 to 1985. In addition to their academic achievements, they have also obtained two additional certifications: the DCAM Accredited V2 from the EDM Council in October 2021, and the Delivering an Authentic Elevator Pitch from LinkedIn in August 2020.
