Joseph Devenuti

Joseph DeVenuti has extensive work experience in the banking industry, with a focus on data governance and integration. Joseph is currently the Senior Managing Director - Head of Data Governance at Webster Bank since August 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Sterling National Bank, including Managing Director - Data Integration and Governance from December 2020, Data Governance - VP - Enterprise Data Steward from October 2016 to December 2020, and Business Intelligence - AVP - Records Management Program Manager from June 2014 to October 2016. Before joining Sterling National Bank, Joseph worked at Empire National Bank as an Assistant Vice President - Electronic Banking Officer from November 2012 to June 2014, Assistant Vice President - Operations Manager from March 2008 to June 2014, and Record Retention Manager from March 2008 to June 2014. Joseph started their career at New York Community Bancorp as an Operations Coordinator from April 2006 to March 2008 and Assistant Secretary - Procurement Department from February 2002 to April 2006.

Joseph DeVenuti studied Mathematics Teacher Education at Long Island University. During their education, they obtained additional certifications including Learning Python (2020) from LinkedIn, Sterling National Bank's Management to Leadership Series (2021) from Sterling National Bank, DCAM Accredited V2 (2020) from the EDM Council, and Certified Information Management Professional Data Governance (2016) from eLearningCurve.
