Karen Disunno

Karen DiSunno has over 25 years of work experience in human resources. Karen currently works at Webster Bank as the Director of HR Compliance and Director of HR Business Partner, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sterling National Bank as the Director of HR Business Partner and Manager of HR Compliance & Operations, starting in 2018. Before joining Sterling National Bank, Karen worked at Astoria Bank for 22 years, holding various roles such as Manager of Compliance - HR, Assistant Manager of Employee Services, Senior HR Generalist, and HR Associate. Karen also has experience at Sterling National Bank, where they served as the Manager of Compliance - HR for 22 years.

Karen DiSunno completed their education in a chronological order. Karen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Briarcliffe College, between the years 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate's degree in Accounting from Nassau Community College, from 1987 to 1990.

In addition to their educational background, Karen DiSunno has also acquired relevant certifications. In August 2021, they obtained the "Strategic HR Business Partner" certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI). Furthermore, in August 2020, they completed the "Management to Leadership Series" offered by Sterling National Bank.
