Sheng Cao

Sheng Cao is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the fields of chemistry and process development. Currently serving as a CR&D Scientist II at Sterling Pharma Solutions since February 2022, Sheng Cao focuses on process optimization and development to support cGMP manufacturing of intermediates and APIs. Prior to this role, Sheng Cao held positions as a Scientist III at MilliporeSigma and Principal Synthetic Chemist at Alexium International Group Limited. With a strong background in research, Sheng Cao has contributed to various organizations, including Affinity Research Chemicals, The Medical College of Wisconsin, and several universities, where significant work involved the synthesis of novel nucleoside analogs, small molecular anticancer drugs, and reactive oxidative species. Sheng Cao earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah.
