Amit Kanodia

Amit Kanodia has held various roles in supply chain and procurement throughout their career. Amit began in 2005 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Global Autotech Ltd. Amit then worked at JBM Group as an SCM Executive, where they ensured JIT supply chain and optimized safety stock. Amit later joined Acme Telepower Ltd. as an Executive Supply Chain Manager, where they developed partnerships for Fuel cell R&D and negotiated legal and commercial terms.

In 2009, Amit joined Tata Communications as a Procurement Executive and eventually became a Regional Procurement Manager. Amit managed several projects, including the sourcing of India's first white-label ATM and procurement for 7 Green certified Data Centers worth $105MM.

Following that, they worked at Yum! Brands as an SCM Manager, where they managed contracts and resolved commercial claims. At One-Rx India Pvt. Ltd., Amit served as an Opex Procurement Manager, overseeing the MRO category and leading the mobile S8 launch rollout at Indian airports.

Most recently, Amit worked at Sterlite Power as the Lead Indirect Strategic Sourcing and later as the Head of Indirect Sourcing. In these roles, they managed P2P processes and handled RFI/RFP, negotiation, and contracting for various categories such as IT, Admin, and Insurance.

Throughout their career, Amit has demonstrated strong skills in strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier performance analysis, and project management.

Amit Kanodia has a diverse educational background. Amit completed an Executive Program in Strategy and Leadership from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management (PGDMM) from the Indian Institute of Material Management in 2010-2011. Amit also holds a Graduate Diploma in Material Management (G.D.M.M) from the same institution, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010.

Amit's undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained from the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Amit has pursued various certifications to enhance their skills. Amit completed a Leadership Skills certification from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in June 2023. Amit also obtained certifications in Change Management for Organizations: Drive Strategic Results from Udemy in September 2021. In 2019, they acquired several certifications from LinkedIn, including Fred Kofman on Managing Conflict, Interpersonal Communication, Managing Up, Transitioning from Manager to Leader, Improving Your Listening Skills, Managing To-Do Lists, Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials, Developing a Learning Mindset, and Strategic Thinking.
