Salil Kale

Salil Kale has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Salil started their career at New Holland Tractors India in 2004 as a Sr Manager in the Purchase department. Salil then moved on to SKF India Ltd in 2007, where they served as the GM of SKF Logistic Services, responsible for various aspects of logistics, such as warehousing, distribution, transportation management, and import/export logistics. During their time at SKF India Ltd, Salil achieved significant cost reductions and service level improvements, earning him awards and recognition for their contributions. In 2011, they joined Carraro India Pvt Ltd as a Director of Materials, overseeing the management of direct and indirect materials, new product development, procurement strategy, and inventory management. Salil then joined Indo Rama Synthetics (I) Ltd in 2013 as VP-Commercial, focused on supply chain and logistics. Currently, they hold the position of SVP - Operational Sourcing at Sterlite Power since 2015.

Salil Kale completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering from Amravati University between 1984 and 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Nagpur University with a focus on Personnel and Finance, which they completed from 2000 to 2002.
