Sally Shady, PhD, is an accomplished academic and educator in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as the Associate Chair of Undergraduate Education and Associate Teaching Professor in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Stevens Institute of Technology since August 2019. Sally Shady previously held the position of Assistant Teaching Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology from September 2016 to 2019 and worked as an Assistant Professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology from September 2013 to September 2016. Early career experience includes a role as a Product Engineer at BD from January 2000 to 2003. Sally Shady earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where studies were completed between 2004 and 2010, and holds a Master’s degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, obtained in 2000.
