Sean Cunniffe

Sean Cunniffe has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare organizations. Sean is currently an Adjunct Professor at Stonehill College and the President of Hawthorn Medical Center at Steward Health Care. Previously, Sean has held roles such as Senior Director of Operations at Shields Health Solutions and Vice President of Practice Operations at Steward Health Care. Sean has also worked as a Registered Nurse at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Practice Manager at Boston Medical Center, and Unit Service Tech at Faulkner Hospital. Sean's expertise includes EHR training, instructional design, and practice management.

Sean Cunniffe earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business and English from Stonehill College from 2004 to 2008. Sean then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions from 2010 to 2013. During the same period, they also obtained a Master of Science in Acute Care NP from MGH Institute of Health Professions. Later, from 2013 to 2015, Sean completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Simmons College - Simmons School of Management. In terms of additional certifications, Sean obtained Epic - Anesthesia and Epic - Optime certifications, and they have also received the ACNP - BC certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
