Darrell Parker

Darrell Parker, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in human resources, leadership, and business development. Darrell began their career at ManpowerGroup in 1998, where they worked as a Branch Manager and successfully grew gross sales from $1 million to $6 million. Darrell then joined Harnett Health System in 2011 as a Talent Acquisition Team Lead, overseeing a recruitment team and managing hiring decisions for multiple healthcare facilities. In 2014, they joined StaffMasters as an Area Manager, where they were responsible for profit and loss, recruiting strategy, and business development. In 2016, they became the Human Resources Director at STI Polymer, leading HR, payroll, benefits administration, compensation, and organizational development functions for a manufacturing organization. Darrell also implemented new HRIS platform and served as a change agent for workplace culture growth. Additionally, in 2016, they founded Parker Hypnotic Coaching where they created and delivered dynamic keynotes, training events, and hypnosis-related wellness events for businesses and professionals. Darrell has also been a keynote speaker for various conferences and conducted corporate training sessions.

Darrell Parker, SHRM-CP, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, which they obtained from 2023 to 2024. Darrell also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Resources Management from the same university. Prior to their degree in human resources, they attended Sandhills Community College from 1995 to 1998, studying Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer. In terms of certifications, Darrell Parker holds the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification obtained in December 2021 from SHRM. Darrell also holds additional certifications such as Drive Results With Talent from The Predictive Index, Certified Trainer - The Power of Positive Leadership from The Jon Gordon Companies, Inc, and Certified Hypnotist (CH) from Mike Mandel Hypnosis, all obtained in different years. Lastly, they hold a CompTIA Project+ certification obtained in 2017 and an HR Business Partner certification from CAI- Capital Associated Industries.
