Joining their office in 1972, France primarily focuses on administrative law and real estate development requiring combined expertise in real estate, planning and public procurement.

She has expertise in matters concerning urban development (zoning and planning), environmental law, public procurement, PPP, expropriations and administrative litigation before the Council of State (Conseil d’État/Raad van State), the Constitutional Court and other Belgian courts at all levels. She is also highly active in real estate and construction law.

France is one of a few lawyers in Belgium who combines and applies her knowledge of real estate law, public law and planning law in her day-to-day legal practice, which makes her particularly qualified for multidisciplinary projects.

France graduated in law at the University of Brussels (ULB) (1972) and obtained a master’s in economic law from the same university (1973). Moreover, France chairs two positions at the ULB, one at the Law Faculty and the other at the Faculty of Applied Science (Planning Institute).
