Kamal Nayan

Kamal Nayan has over seven years of experience in product design. From 2014-2015, they worked as a Web Designer at Miranj.in, where they designed and developed Wordpress themes for clients and wrote templates for Craft CMS. From 2015-2016, they worked as a Product Designer at MySmartPrice.com. From 2016-2018, they worked as a Product Designer at Cleartrip.com, where they worked on a suite of products and features related to the Flights vertical. Kamal also contributed to the ongoing efforts for creating a Design System for web. From 2018-2019, they worked as a Product Designer at Carousell, where they worked on monetizing the platform and building tools for power sellers. Finally, from 2019-2022, they worked as a UX Designer at Booking.com, where they worked on improving customer retention and trust by designing better transactional policies on consumer mobile apps. Kamal collaborated with Data Analysts, User Researchers, and Product Managers to form hypotheses and design A/B experiments. Kamal is currently a Senior Product Designer at Sticker Mule.

Kamal Nayan completed their Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from Patel College of Science and Technology between 2010 and 2014. Prior to this, they attended Sainik School Gopalganj from 2004 to 2010 and obtained a High School degree. Kamal has also obtained various certifications from Udemy and Lynda.com, including Javascript: Understanding the Weird Parts, SwiftUI - Learn How to Build Beautiful, Robust Apps, Google Analytics for Beginners, and Graphic Design Foundations: Typography.
