Michael Coakley

Michael Coakley is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and capital markets. Currently serving as Managing Director at Stifel Financial Corp. since May 2016, Coakley acts as the Product Head of International Convertible Bonds and plays a pivotal role on the European Executive Management Committee. Previously, Coakley held the position of Executive Vice President/Senior Partner at ISM Capital LLP, where focus was on equity-linked and high-yield structured debt products. Prior roles include Managing Director at Lehman Brothers, where leadership encompassed Asian and European Convertible Bond Sales and Pan European Equity Sales. Coakley also served as Senior Vice President at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette International, and held positions at Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse, specializing in convertible bond sales. Coakley's academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Finance from Bayes Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from University College Cork.
