Franco Bastasin

Franco Bastasin has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Franco started their career in 1987 as a Technical Designer for Caber SpA, specializing in winter sport equipment. Franco then worked as a Senior Product Mechanical Designer for Aprilia SpA, focusing on motorcycles production. In 1998, they became a Project Leader for Aprilia SpA, leading motorcycle projects. From 2001 to 2002, they served as the R&D Director for Officine Everest SpA. Between 2002 and 2007, they were a Technical Sales Manager for Da Lio SpA, a company in the plastic and molds industry. In 2008, they joined GGP SpA (later known as STIGA SpA), where they worked as an R&D - WBH Platform Manager for gardening equipment until 2013. Franco then became the R&D Platforms Manager for GGP Italy SpA (later STIGA SpA) until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the R&D Director for STIGA, focusing on gardening equipment. Franco later became the ESG and Sustainability Director from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Sustainability, Quality, Service & HSE VP at STIGA since November 2023. Franco Bastasin's work experience demonstrates their expertise in various industries, particularly in R&D and technical management roles.

Franco Bastasin attended E.FERMI-TV from 1979 to 1985, where they obtained a Secondary School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they hold an EFSET English Certificate with a score of 69/100 (C1 Advanced) from EF Standard English Test.
