Matthew Meekes, CPA

Matthew Meekes, CPA has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matthew started their career as a Business Co-op at De Armond Management in 2010. In the same year, they joined UNIT4 Business Software North America as a Business Development Coordinator. Matthew later became the Team Lead, Inside Sales at the same company from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined KPMG Canada as a Staff Accountant and worked their way up to become an Audit Manager before leaving in 2020. In 2020, they joined KIXEYE as a Financial Controller and then moved to Stillfront Group in 2021 as a Controller, North America.

Matthew Meekes, CPA's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Mount Royal University for one year and studied Commerce as part of a University Transfer program. Matthew then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with a specialization in Entrepreneurship at the University of Victoria from 2008 to 2010. In 2012, they enrolled in Camosun College and obtained a Post Degree Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, which they completed in 2014. Finally, in 2014, Matthew became a Charterd Professional Accountant after completing their studies at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) program.
