Rachael Parker has a strong background in research and development, starting as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech in 2011. There, they focused on producing keratin proteins for improving skin-implant interfaces and designing recognition elements for bacterial detection. Rachael then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tufts University from 2017 to 2020, where their research included developing stimuli-responsive smart materials and mucoadhesive nanoparticles for drug delivery. Moving on to StimLabs in 2020, Rachael advanced from Scientist to Senior Scientist and eventually to Associate Principal Scientist, demonstrating their expertise in the field.
Rachael Parker completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Business Economics, with a minor in Spanish, at High Point University from 2007 to 2011. Rachael then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Virginia Tech, graduating in 2017.
