Hidde Hoogstraten

Hidde Hoogstraten has a diverse work experience. From July 2016 to June 2019, Hidde worked at Stingray as a Content Editor for Brava & DJAZZ. In June 2019, Hidde was promoted to the role of Chief Editor for Classical Music at Stingray. Hidde also worked as a Stagiair at the Directiesecretariaat of the Nationale Opera & Ballet from February 2016 to June 2016. Additionally, Hidde will be joining katholieke basisschool 't Koggeschip as a Zij-instromer basisonderwijs in January 2023.

Hidde Hoogstraten's education history begins in 2009 when they attended the University of Amsterdam. From 2009 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Historical and Cultural Musicology, with minors in Business Studies and Public Administration. In 2013, Hidde Hoogstraten enrolled in Utrecht University and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Arts Policy and Management, which they completed in 2015. During the same period from 2013 to 2014, they also attended the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where they obtained a Propedeuse degree in Music Education, specializing in Classical Piano. Most recently, in the years 2023 to 2025, Hidde Hoogstraten attended the Marnix Academie, focusing on becoming a primary school teacher through the Leerkracht basisonderwijs program.
