Chelsea Clennan

Chelsea Clennan, SPHR is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in strategic HR operations and organizational development. Chelsea is currently working as an Adjunct Instructor at Friends University, teaching a graduate course on Talent Acquisition and Development. Prior to this, Chelsea held various HR leadership roles at Stinson LLP, including Director of Human Resources and Senior Human Resources Manager. In these positions, they focused on driving sustainable HR operations, aligning talent strategies with business priorities, and providing strategic business partnership and coaching to leaders. Chelsea has also served as an Executive Director at the United Way of El Dorado. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in employee relations, full cycle recruiting, conflict resolution, performance management, policy implementation and management, strategic planning, employee training and development, and budgeting and fiscal management.

Chelsea Clennan, SPHR, obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Resource Development from Pittsburg State University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Friends University from 2013 to 2015. Chelsea'seducation journey began with an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Butler Community College, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. Chelsea has also obtained various certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute in 2019 and the Employing Abilities at Work Certificate from the SHRM Foundation in 2020. Additionally, they hold certifications in THE DISCSTYLES™ COMMUNICATION CONSULTANT from Dr. Tony Alessandra, Founder of Assessment 24x7 LLC, and OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Training for General Industry from the University of South Florida, both obtained in previous years.
