Boris Fomitchev

Boris Fomitchev is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in deep learning frameworks and mobile technology. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer in Deep Learning Frameworks at NVIDIA since August 2015, Boris has contributed to leading projects like Torch, Caffe, and Theano, and has facilitated the porting of Lua Torch to Android. Boris's professional background includes roles at STLport Consulting, where projects for clients like PayPal were undertaken, and FullPower Technologies, where work on the MotionX® mobile/cloud platform was performed. Previous experience includes significant contributions at Adobe on the Photoshop team, SUN Microsystems, Metabyte, Inc., and MCST, where Boris developed various software solutions and systems. Boris holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
