Lewis Girdwood

Lewis Girdwood is currently the CFO at Stobart Group. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Commercial Finance at Premier Foods plc from July 2003 to July 2010. In August 2010, they became the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at easyJet and was responsible for commercial revenues in excess of £4.5bn and a cost base of £4bn. Lewis directed all the business partnering at easyJet plc, including Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, Planning - 5yr plans, Budgets and Forecasts, Aircraft Ownership, Central Overheads. In addition, they were responsible for Business Intelligence a three year rolling project covering all easyJet Business Intelligence and analytical, visual analytical requirements. Lewis provided leadership on key business decision support and project management and was a member of the Executive Leadership team. From March 2017 to March 2019, they were the Chief Financial Officer at IAG Cargo where they led the areas of Finance, Business Insights, Safety and Compliance, Procurement.

Lewis Girdwood attended Heriot-Watt University, Robert Gordons School, and Abingdon School. Lewis received a BA in General Degree - main areas Accounting and Economics from Heriot-Watt University and certification from the ASSOCIATION OF CHARTERED CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANTS in FCCA.
