Oskar Jönsson

Group Manager Technology at Stockholm Exergi

Oskar Jönsson has held various roles in different companies throughout their work experience. In 2022, they became a board member at Värme och Kraftföreningen. Prior to that, they worked at Stockholm Exergi from 2018 to the present, starting as a Process Developer and later becoming the Acting Group Manager for Operations & Maintenance Development and IBM Maximo Management. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as the Group Manager in the Maintenance Engineering Department at Scania Industrial Maintenance AB. Before that, from 2014 to 2016, they were a Maintenance Developer at the same company.

Furthermore, they worked at DynaMate AB from 2011 to 2014, where they held the positions of Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Technician. Their responsibilities included maintenance planning and development in machining production, creating preventive/condition-based maintenance plans, and utilizing maintenance systems and BI tools.

Prior to that, they worked as a 2nd Engineer at TransAtlantic AB from 2009 to 2011, where they were responsible for the technical operation of a merchant shipping vessel. Oskar conducted preventive maintenance, managed spare parts, and performed watchkeeping duties.

Oskar began their career in 2002 as a Group Leader for Radio Link at the Swedish Armed Forces, a role they held until 2003.

From 2004 to 2008, Oskar attended Linnaeus University, where they pursued a degree in Sjöingenjör (Marine Engineer) with a specialization in Drift och underhåll (Operation and Maintenance).

In 2003, they studied at Lunds tekniska högskola (Lund University of Technology) for a year, focusing on Elektroteknik (Electrical Engineering).

Between 1998 and 2002, Oskar attended Nynäshamns gymnasium (Nynäshamn High School), specializing in Naturteknisk (Natural Science and Technology).

In 1999, they briefly studied at the American International School of Guangzhou (AISG) for one year, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided.

In terms of additional certifications, Oskar obtained the Asset Management Certificate from The Institute of Asset Management in February 2020. Oskar also received the EFNMS Certified European Maintenance Technician Specialist certification from the EFNMS European Federation of National Maintenance Societies in October 2015.
