David Brickell

David Brickell has a diverse work experience in private equity and investment. David started their career at Credit Suisse First Boston as an Analyst, where they worked in a team investing CSFB's proprietary equity capital. David then joined Morgan Stanley as a Senior Analyst/Associate, where they focused on various sectors including industrials, healthcare, financial services, media/communications, and energy. Following this, they briefly worked as a Summer Associate at Permira, before joining Morgan Stanley Capital Partners as an Associate. In this role, they were responsible for due diligence, investment analysis, arranging financing, and writing investment committee memoranda. Brickell then joined Candover as an Investment Director, where they led investments in mid to large cap European buyouts. David later co-founded Stockopedia, a company where they served as a Director. Currently, they are an Investment Partner at Oakley Capital Private Equity, where they partner with founders and management teams to build successful businesses in Europe.

David Brickell obtained an MA in Law/Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Exeter School from 1991 to 1993. Additionally, they attended Rangitoto College from 1989 to 1991. In 2002, David obtained an MBA in International Business from INSEAD.
