Matt Hale CSW, WSET

Matt Hale has a diverse work experience in the wine and spirits industry. Matt is currently employed at Stoli Group as a Regional Sales Leader, overseeing Arizona, Washington, Hawaii, Alaska, and New Mexico. Prior to this role, they were a Regional Sales Manager at Stoli Group, responsible for the same regions.

Before joining Stoli Group, Matt worked at Constellation Brands for several years. Matt started as a Field Sales Manager in Arizona and later became a Senior Field Sales Manager, demonstrating their growth within the organization.

Matt's earlier experience includes working at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, where they held the position of Division Fine Wine Manager. In this role, they built strong relationships with various suppliers and managed a team of sales representatives. Matt also conducted staff trainings and education sessions.

Prior to their time at Southern Glazer's, Matt worked as an On-Premise Sales Representative, responsible for selling a diverse range of wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages to a portfolio of accounts.

Matt has also gained experience outside of the wine and spirits industry. Matt served as a General Manager at Acacia Restaurant, where they were in charge of staff hiring and training, inventory control, and organizing special events. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Captain/General Manager at Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort, where they managed the wine and spirit inventory and organized various wine events.

Throughout their career, Matt has achieved notable accomplishments, such as receiving the Wine Enthusiast Best 100 Wine Lists in the US award and helping Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort achieve the Mobile 4-Star Award-Winning Restaurant status.

Matt Hale earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Matt then obtained a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) certification from the Society of Wine Educators and completed the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) program. In addition to their formal education, Matt has earned several certifications in various areas such as critical thinking, inclusive mindset, and leadership through online courses offered by LinkedIn. Matt also holds WSET Level 2 certifications in Spirits and Wine, which they passed with distinction in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
