Darren Recupero

Darren Recupero has over 30 years of work experience in the financial industry. Currently, they serve as the Senior Managing Director - COO at Virtus Investment Partners, where they lead the integration of three fixed income boutiques under Virtus Fixed Income Advisors. Prior to this, Darren was the COO at Stone Harbor Investment Partners since 2012. Darren also worked at Morgan Stanley as the Managing Director - Chief Operating Officer of the Private Portfolio Group, overseeing $90 billion in assets. Before that, Darren held the position of Managing Director - Chief Operating Officer at Legg Mason, where they managed the SMA platform supporting Clearbridge Advisors. Darren started their career at Citi, where they served as a Managing Director and head of Business Management for various divisions. Darren also held positions at Nuveen Investments and Prudential Financial earlier in their career.
