Polly joined Stone King in June 2016 and specialises in all aspects of employment law.

Polly has niche expertise in advising the education sector on a wide variety of strategic, contentious and regulatory matters and has a wealth of experience in the whole ambit of staff issues including national terms and conditions, industrial action, trade union liaison, TUPE, restructure, and safeguarding matters. She is also experienced in advising on equality issues in education and has experience of the SENDIST tribunal.

Combining a commercial and risk sensitive approach with sector specific knowledge and real ‘hands on’ management of client relationships allows Polly to provide strong, focussed support, assisting clients with both strategic aims and crisis management.

Polly is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and provides bespoke, in-house training for both her education and commercial clients as well as having regular speaking commitments with numerous professional institutions including CIPD, CIMA and the IFA. To supplement her education practice, Polly also sits on the TRA (Teaching Regulation Agency) Teacher Misconduct panel.
