Jason Karys

Jason Karys has extensive experience in basketball coaching and operations, currently serving as an Assistant Coach at Stonehill College since July 2021. Previously, Karys held multiple roles at Valparaiso University from August 2013 to June 2021, including Director of Basketball Operations and Men's Basketball Graduate Assistant. Karys participated as a walk-on student athlete during the 2016-2017 season and contributed to scouting by simulating opponents' plays. In addition to coaching, Karys developed training programs, organized game footage, and assisted in recruitment efforts. Karys's background also includes a sports management internship at THE NEUSTADT GROUP, LLC, where analysis and contract management for NBA prospects were key responsibilities, and an international moving specialist role that involved client relations at Astro International Moving & Storage. Academic credentials include a degree from Valparaiso University obtained in 2017.
