Gcs James Welling II

James Welling II, GCS has a solid work experience in the golf course management field. James started their career as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Shaker Heights Country Club in 2015 and worked there until November 2016. In 2017, they became a Golf Course Superintendent at Highland Park Golf Course and held this position until May 2020. Following that, they served as the Director of Golf Course Maintenance at Legend Lake Golf Club from May 2020 to July 2022. From May 2022 to April 2023, they were the Head Golf Course Superintendent at Burning Tree Country Club. Currently, they are working as the Head Golf Course Superintendent at Stonewall Resort, a position they started in March 2023.

James Welling II, GCS obtained their Associate's degree in Turfgrass Management from Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute. James attended the institute from 1992 to 1995.
