Madala Rao

Madala Rao has extensive work experience in the financial and trading industry. Madala is currently the Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Technology at StoneX Group Inc. Since 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Trading Technologist at Rival Systems from 2018 to 2020. Madala also served as a Trading Technology/Strategies/Member at DV Trading LLC from 2014 to 2017. From 2012 to 2013, Madala held the role of Systematic/Algo Trading Strategy Tech/Trading Group Head at 3Red Trading. Madala also worked as a High Freq/Algo Strategies Development/Researcher at BlueFire Capital from 2010 to 2011. Madala was a Principal in Trading and Technology at Principal - Olympic Group / Gelber Group from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a CTO/Partner at JED Capital from 2007 to 2008. Madala served as the Head of Technology at DRW Trading Group from 2003 to 2007. Madala started their career at Bank of America as a VP Senior Tech Manager, focusing on Global Electronic Exchange Arbitrage and Trading Strategy Development from 1996 to 2003.

Madala Rao has a B.E (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Madala also holds an M.S degree in Computer Science from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
