Tiia Lappalainen

Tiia Lappalainen is a seasoned professional in human resources with extensive experience in employee relations and people management within leading companies. Currently serving as a People & Culture Business Partner at Stora Enso since November 2022, Tiia supports management at two Finnish mills, focusing on strategic people agendas and action plans. Previously, Tiia held the position of Employee Relations Partner at Stora Enso, managing processes related to payroll, compensation, and employee wellbeing. Prior experiences include a Human Resources Specialist role at Arla Foods, where Tiia managed daily operations and collaborated on global HR projects, and an HR Specialist position at UPM - The Biofore Company, focusing on employee lifecycle processes. Additionally, Tiia worked in customer service and sales support at OP Financial Group and Metsä Tissue, respectively. Tiia holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Sciences with a focus on Public Law from the University of Tampere.
