John Coleman has a comprehensive work experience in the field of IT. John started their career as a Sonar Technician in the US Navy, where they repaired and operated UNIX-based computers and supervised maintenance schedules. John also had a role in employee development and managed the unit's website. After leaving the Navy, they worked as a Help Desk Technician at My Computer Works and then as a Systems Administrator at The IHC Group. John had a brief stint as an Infrastructure Administrator at the City of Goodyear before joining Crisis Response Network, Inc. as a Systems Administrator. John then worked at STORE Capital, first as an IT Manager and currently as the Director of IT. In addition to their professional experience, they also freelanced as a Web Designer and played a key role in the development of a presentation for a client company.

John Coleman obtained an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Computer Technology from Rio Salado College, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they also earned various certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Server Infrastructure, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Desktop Administrator, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Windows 7, MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Windows 7, Configuring. These certifications were obtained between 2011 and 2013. John also obtained certifications in Advanced Computer Usage and Applications and Computer Usage and Applications from Rio Salado College in December 2011.
