Michael Schultz

Michael Schultz has a diverse work experience in the legal and real estate field. Michael currently serves as the Managing Director - Acquisitions at STORE Capital, a net-lease REIT. Prior to this, they worked as an M&A and Commercial Real Estate Attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, a role they held from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they worked as a Commercial Real Estate Attorney at Mason Wenk & Berman, L.L.C., JONES DAY®, and Brown, Udell, Pomerantz & Delrahim Ltd. Michael also has experience as a Legal Compliance Extern at Geneva Advisors and as a Legal Extern at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Michael began their career as a Law Clerk at Ciardelli, Cummings & Campagna LLC and served as a Judicial Extern at the Circuit Court of Cook County. Prior to their legal career, they worked as a private music instructor and freelance jazz musician.

Michael Schultz earned a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Florida State University in the years 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued further education at Metropolitan State University of Denver and obtained another Bachelor's degree in Music from 2010 to 2012. Lastly, they attended the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2014, where they received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with honors in Business and Financial Services Law, cum laude.
