Thomas L. Backer

Thomas L. Backer has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Thomas L. is currently the Head of Contractual Processing and Accounting, Corporate Market at Storebrand. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager and Business Consultant at Cenium from 2019 to 2022. Backer also served as the Co-Founder of Nordic Tied, a small start-up, where they managed finance activities and day-to-day operations from 2017 to 2020. Thomas L. has also held positions at VIEW Ledger, including Business Development Manager, Head Of Finance, Manager, and Consultant, between 2014 and 2019. Before this, they worked as a Certified Public Accountant at Sjølyst Regnskap ANS from 2012 to 2014.

Thomas L. Backer completed their MSc in Business and Economics with a major in Business Law, Tax, and Accounting from BI Norwegian Business School. Thomas L. received their degree between 2007 and 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, Thomas also obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation, 6th edition certification in April 2021 from Metier OEC.
