Prerna Parashar

Prerna Parashar is a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in data analytics and system development. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Storj Labs since February 2021, Prerna previously held positions at the University of Cincinnati, where a central database system was built to assist program directors in tracking student internships, and Atos Syntel, where expertise in distributed systems and customer data processing was demonstrated. Earlier roles include working as a Senior Software Developer at NIIT Technologies, focusing on digital engagement platforms and data ingestion processes, and as an Associate at Cognizant, where data ingestion and repository creation in Hadoop were key responsibilities. Prerna holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and Data Science from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Jaypee University of Information Technology.
