Melissa Schwartz

Melissa Schwartz has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2012 when they were a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania's Trauma Injury Lab. In 2013, they were a Co-Founder of ReSnare LLC and a Product Development and Marketing Intern at Viridity Energy. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at EY as a Technology Consultant and Product Manager & Digital Strategist. During this time, they focused on designing and launching consumer-facing, mobile-first digital experiences, specifically within the personal finance management area to millions of users. In 2019, they joined Oscar Health as a Senior Product Manager and Product Manager, where they built blue-sky products for Oscar's Care Teams to recommend more personalized, affordable care and explain plan costs to build trust with their members. In 2022, Melissa began working at Elektra Health as a Director of Product, leading the product strategy, outcomes definition, ideation and product roadmap for the proprietary menopause platform with evidence-based education, 1:1 support, and a private community of women. Melissa also ran experiments to explore product-market fit with operations and setup the company's internal prioritization processes. Finally, they are currently a Senior Product Manager at Stork Club.

Melissa Schwartz has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Bioengineering and Engineering Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained in 2014. Melissa has also taken part-time 10-week course in Product Management at General Assembly and a Programming for Non-Programmers Bootcamp at General Assembly. Additionally, Melissa holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in February 2018, and an ITIL Version 3 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, which they obtained in April 2015.
