Julian Surface

Julian Surface is a seasoned narrative designer currently serving as a Senior Narrative Designer at Storm8 since September 2021. With prior experience at JumpStart - Knowledge Adventure, Inc. as a Narrative Designer and Supervising Narrative Designer, Julian has contributed to projects such as NEOPETS and received acclaim for the Advent Calendar 2020 animated shorts. A freelance professional from March 2011 to June 2015, Julian wrote over 16 screenplays and television pilots, earning multiple writing awards, including Best Screenplay for DOGS OF THE PACIFIC. Additional roles have included office management and development assistance at The Operating Room and internship positions at Warner Bros. Entertainment and Eleven Eleven Films, focusing on script development and coverage. Julian holds a BA in English Literature from Lancaster University, with a minor in film, creative writing, and media.
