Jacob Witte

Jacob Witte is an experienced professional currently serving as an Appraiser for Story County since September 2021. Previously, Jacob worked as a Cabinet Maker at Swan Creek Cabinet Company from January to September 2021 and held various roles at Hy-Vee, Inc., including Produce Manager from May 2016 to May 2017 and Produce Associate from May 2005 to February 2014. Jacob also gained experience as an intern in the Assessor's Office with the City of Ames, Iowa, from February 2014 to May 2016, where responsibilities included updating residential property records using ProVal Plus software. In addition, Jacob was an Opinion Writer for the Iowa State Daily, focusing on research and writing weekly columns, and served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University in 2011. Jacob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Iowa State University, earned in 2012.
