Bret Hutson

Bret Hutson is an experienced nuclear professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Shift Manager at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation since July 2016, Bret previously held the position of Operations Manager - Production Support at South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company since October 2001. Responsibilities at South Texas Project include procedure support, department performance improvement, fatigue rule compliance, investigations, budget performance, and apprentice programs. Additionally, Bret has experience as a licensed Senior Reactor Operator, supervising control room activities at a Westinghouse commercial nuclear plant. Bret Hutson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1989 to 1994.
