Tomi Tyrväinen

Tomi Tyrväinen has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Tomi started their career in 2008 as an Office Worker at Supergo Oy and held similar roles in the company in 2010 and 2011. In 2012, they briefly worked as a Tallentaja at SOK/Barona.

In 2013, Tyrväinen joined CGI as an Analyst, where they provided support in financial management and reporting during an ERP implementation. Tomi later became a Business Controller at CGI, responsible for finance matters and revenue recognition process. Tomi held this role until 2018.

In 2018, Tyrväinen joined Fortum as a Business Controller, where they worked closely with the trading and nuclear power plant business areas, providing financial support, monthly reporting, and budgeting. Tomi then became the Head of Finance, Nuclear Production in 2019, where they were responsible for the finance function in the Loviisa NPP, including performance management and forecasting. In 2023, they took on the role of Director, Business Control, Loviisa NPP, leading the business controlling in the nuclear power plant and developing the finance function.

Throughout their career, Tyrväinen has gained expertise in finance, business control, performance management, reporting, and budgeting.

Tomi Tyrväinen completed their Matriculation Examination from Haukilahden Lukio in 2008. Tomi then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management from LUT University between 2010 and 2013. Tomi later obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from LUT University in 2014. In 2013, they also completed a minor in Management from Universiti Malaya.
