Alexander Bockman is currently the Deputy Group Lead at STR, where they focus on advanced technologies in signal processing and autonomy. They previously served as a Principal Scientist at STR and as Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, specializing in adaptive sensor array processing. Alexander earned a PhD in Acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they were recognized with multiple fellowships and awards, including a first-place finish in the ASA Student Design Competition. Prior to their technical career, they taught mathematics and coached at Friends' Central School.
