Position Description

Trust is good, but testing is better! Do you have a passion for software testing and love to think out of the box? Are you looking to work in a software field other than Finance or Insurance sector? This is your chance! As Software Quality Assurance Manager & Analyst at STRADE, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the delivery of Software artefacts and before deploying those into Production. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive product excellence ensuring the successful delivery of our digital marketplace.

What You’ll Do (Tasks & Responsibilities)

  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to understand testing requirements and objectives, and user expectations
  • Establish and continuously improve a comprehensive QA strategy/roadmap, including the internal software quality management process
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all software testing activities
  • Lead and execute software test concepts & test plans including feature, integration, system, and end-to-end (E2E) tests
  • Assemble a mix of several static and dynamic testing and acceptance strategies to achieve optimal test coverage and reliability
  • Define requirements for test environments and test data management, ensuring integration with 3rd-party systems
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and prioritize tests to mitigate potential issues
  • Define, document, and maintain test cases, track defects and generate comprehensive test reports throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform hands-on systematic exploratory and scripted testing
  • Regularly update regression and feature test sets according to evolving customer requirements
  • Create maturity level metrics in collaboration with colleagues to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project leads, software engineers, and QA engineers in quality management practices

What You Bring (Qualifications and Professional Competencies)

  • Customer-oriented personality with an affinity to Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field
  • Ideally, continuing education in software testing (ISTQB / ISEB or equivalent qualification)
  • 5+ years of sound experience in planning and executing methodical testing of complex software solutions, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Ability to think from an end-users perspective to ensure software usability and satisfaction
  • Proficiency in analyzing usability and design specifications to derive effective test cases
  • Experience working in both start-up and large-scale enterprise environments

Additional plus

  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Familiarity with testing e-commerce or marketplace platforms
  • Understanding of the aviation industry, aerospace (MRO) business or related fields
  • Experience working with JIRA, Xray, and Confluence
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
