Yolanda H. Caraway is an accomplished professional with significant experience in communications and public affairs. As the President and CEO of The Caraway Group, Inc., a woman and minority-owned consulting firm established in October 1987, Caraway has led initiatives from offices located in Washington, DC, and Los Angeles. In addition, Caraway serves as a co-author for "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Politics," a book that highlights the experiences and lessons of four influential African American women in politics. Caraway also has an extensive history of involvement with the Democratic National Committee, having been appointed as an at-large member from 1988 to 2009.
